The lightest cars don’t stop sooner, and the heaviest cars don’t stop later. But the heaviest cars can stop sooner. And can be quicker. So, he’s right, who cares… only those who can feel the weight difference in spirited driving. Which isn’t the majority of people. Most will enjoy as we’ve been enjoying heavy cars forever now. |

I just want an i5 touring. Maybe this is the first step. That would be a great replacement for my iX when the lease is up in 3 years.
I can hope.

Ain’t much difference if you are not buying an M car. Or maybe it will look like a K car in half a decade.

It’s highly problematic. The 48v generator will fail at some point. Audi refuses to make it a service bulletin. When it goes you’ll receive a Christmas tree of faults and the car will just shut down. I have 11K on it. Will likely happen between now and 25K miles. Due to this I can’t take the car on long distance trips. Also, it usually takes weeks to fix. Google it if you’re bored.
Other than that it’s probably the most favorite car of mine I’ve ever owned. Truly unique. 👍🏾 |

They are not enthusiasts. Occasionally you run into the old timer who's been there 30 years and is, but generally no.

But I’d take your guess and say that it’s probably because the 520 brakes were oversized as normal, and able to lock up the wheels on the M5 as well, making it a non issue |

Canada is getting it too.
BMW Canada has been doing some amateur promotion of the car using the same veiled photo as the OP, emailing customers (I got an email) and blasting Facebook ads asking people to “sign the petition” to bring it to Canada lol That is a marketing ploy, where customers are made to feel they “had a say” and “played a part” in bringing the car, when it does come. Silly, but it shows the car is coming. |
