Thank you. This one doesn't really make sense though, X5 has it on its cheapest model.

I wanna get the X5/6M but also considering 5 series for now because of the ridiculous interest rates right now. Also not sure why these M cars don't have the highway assist that is available on much cheaper models. BMW be making strange decisions sometimes.

Well, that's clearly a copy paste from a different model, because you can see it doesn't have 2 glass panels ala 8-series.

nope, I clicked on the sky lounge information icon on the i5 configurator. I will say that information on the configurator has been wrong in the past.

Speced a 530 for $78k. Guess the 540i will be in the $85k to $88k range. Loaded M560e probably close to $105k

Lack of massage seats is a deal breaker for me. Love them on our 2023 X5.

Will definitely get the leather option on next year's lease renewal - glad it is not an "individual" option in the US and just a regular option.

Dropping back from my M550 to the 540 since I have no other choice - hopefully with the HP upgrades on the updated B58 I won't miss the V8 too much.

Question on the MSport Professional package - does it change the suspension to be stiffer or is it always a standard suspension with the new 5 series?

Not good for my hypothetical $95k spec.
And also just the basic Bowers and Wilkins upgrade instead of the proper Diamond one the iX has. Seems like even an inferior audio system compared to previous gen 5 Series.

From the configurator (which could be wrong): "Bowers & Wilkins® Diamond Surround Sound System has it all: 16 speakers - including exclusive Diamond Dome tweeters, 1,400 watts of audio power, 10 fully active amplification channels, QuantumLogic Surround/Dynamic Sound Equalizing via measuring microphone and three analog crossover networks for consistent sound quality."

I can’t get past the m sport rear black gloss.

I’d pay 500.00 to paint it from the factory the color I want the car to really be.

I want to lead a revolt. Sadly I think two people would follow me as no one talks about the weird fascination bmw now has with gloss black on m sport.

Buy one now and then upgrades in LCI.

Double the money since you got it

Spoke with my dealer, those numbers are way off and incorrect. There seems to be a bug in the calculation portion of the site.

Sounds like they’re applying their approach of underrating HP and performance numbers to their states range values. If so, I think that’s a mistake. People buying EV’s are super focused on range. I’m not saying to over promise and under deliver. But they should give themselves the best real world estimate they can. Does Tesla underrate range? That’s an honest question, I don’t know much of anything about EV’s. In my mind, I’ll worry about that when I absolutely have to.

If you can stretch out your lease, the M560 might be out next fall. G30 M550 followed one year after the introduction.

I like the window trim being gloss black. After that, I’m with you.

Can't disagree at all with your statement and agree just like myself when I saw the low range listed it's the first thing I thought of and immediately it put me off. When I see a Tesla state a 400 mile range. That 400 is a big number regardless of actual real world results.

100 percent.

Not that I want BMW to emulate Porsche or Audi- but their satin black trim looks sporty. Porsche even paints it at factory for a huge sum.

Anyone got info on if the US will get the Adaptive M Suspension & Integral Active Steering? These options are missing from the US M Sport Professional package.

I think it's delayed introduction so probably going to be available some time next year
