Anyone else waiting at port?
My 540 has been at the port in Bremerhaven since April 3, only six days so far, but I’ve noticed the departure dates keep getting pushed way back or canceled altogether, especially with Wallenius. Not sure if that’s pretty normal or a result of the bridge collapse. My understanding is that Sparrows Point was operating as normal but perhaps that’s not the case. If my car didn’t get on the ship leaving today April 9, it appears it’ll be sitting at port for another three weeks for the next ship.
Apologies for the “low value” post… just hoping to commiserate with anyone else in the same boat so-to-speak. I’m a grown-a$$ man but this waiting is hard!! |

I deposited on an i5 that was due to Sparrows Point yesterday. Pulled in and due to be in transit to me on Friday.

Mine sat in port for 21 days only to get on a ship and now has a stop sale on with no resolution and no information on why!

This is exactly what happened. I found out today that my car actually got on the Polaris Highway that left Bremerhaven on April 9. The Genius agent said my car "left the port on April 12", which is when the Polaris Highway left Zeebrugge. I don't know if my car was actually loaded there or in Bremerhaven and just not updated until it was at sea after stopping in Zeebrugge, but I guess that doesn't really matter. The tracker didn't update to "in transit" until today, April 16, so I had just assumed I missed the boat, literally.

That's great news! Now you can join the club that follows the long trip across the ocean. Marine Traffic and Vessel Finder seem to be the most popular.
