Tesla’s price reductions will keep the M60 in check. You can get a model S Plaid now for $89K.

Ultimately yes - but can I get something off my M60 in late October when it arrives?

You wait. They'll give the 7,500 credit eventually. Hapepned with the i4, i7, iX. Right now they're taking advantage of early adopters who most likely would just buy the car, discount or not.

Forget the Plaid.

The Long Range is now $74,990. It is quicker, lighter, and has more range than the M60.

This is what I see on BMWUSA for the newest lease offer on eDrive40.
https://www.bmwusa.com/special-offer...istatebmw.html

"Monthly lease payments of $749 per month for 36 months is based on an adjusted capitalized cost of $55,770 (MSRP of $69,795, including destination and handling fee of $995, less $4,975 capitalized cost reduction, $0 security deposit, and suggested dealer contribution of $1,550 and $7,500 Lease Credit)."

This seems surprisingly generous.

Also for M60 the suggested dealer contribution is $1,900, plus $7,500 lease credit.

Guess we would be safe because no one will get the car by Oct 2, so logically the current offer would carry over if not getting an even better one.

Any suggestions on how to get dealer to make a contribution? My dealer quoted me a down payment and monthly payment for 36 months without telling me how it was derived- except he said he passed along credits of 7500 and 1000 (nys credit). I dont have any idea how to verify i even got the credits

You ask them for the worksheet. It includes every single number. The credit is offered by the bank (BMWFS) and the dealer has no say on that. If it's there, it's there and you'll get it.

Also, the dealer contribution is also known as a discount. Find a volume dealer that is willing to take off a couple of % off MSRP. These were at 3% off during the preorder phase. If demand stays low to normal, you can most likely get them for 5-10% off later.

I spoke to my dealer. He is offering $0 as dealer contribution. I have bought 5 or 6 vehicles from him previously and they really should do better, despite the reportedly high demand on the M60 (which I signed up for as pre-order with no help from him). Do I have any leverage - not sure how I can switch dealers on a pre-order build to suit car.

My broker is at 6% off i5 and 530 orders (DMV area dealer), and the i5 will get the $7,500 lease pass through credit. $1,000 loyalty on both as well.

All these offers are valid through October 2. I’m sure no one will have their car by than. 🤣 Hopefully the end of the year offers are even better.

Is the 6% off on M60 or eDrive version? I wonder if there is a way to switch dealers once my preorder is in process if my dealer won't budge. My MSRP is $93,500 as built so even a 3% discount would be helpful.

BMW lease rates for the i5 M60 finally came out and they are including the $7500 federal credit in leases. Right off the bat you get a $17k reduction. $959 lease rate.

You mean to say no matter what my build looks like I will get the base price?
