Ice driving
Has anyone else driven much in snowy, in particular icy, conditions? I've had a few instances where the car seems to slip quite a bit on ice, including laterally. If I can't tell if the car is actually slipping more than I am used to or it's just the feedback that I get feels different from my Audi. I have what I think are good snow tires (Vredestein Wintrac Pro). It's also been particularly challenging weather in Colorado.

I live in Canada. And yes, it does slide a bit, but in a controlled manner. It sticked to the ground when I am gentle on the throttle. But whenever I want a little bit of fun, I just give it a little more, and the back will slide, then the traction kicks in and corrects it. I felt completely safe, and under control.

Try turning on the Drive Off Assist (or something like that). It reduces the torque and power, which helps in such conditions.
