I never thought of checking in my mirrors until you mentioned it and just tried that out. Honestly, it’s seriously one of the most amazing things to me about this car. I first took delivery and thought to myself “wow, that IS a big car”. The maneuverability is just ridiculous though - I swear it has a tighter turning circle than my old 3 series wagon. Just fantastic tech.

I believe the rear wheels turn up to 2.5 degrees.

And zipping through roundabouts as well.

The consumption was quite OK. 5.8 l/100 km means 40.55 mpg.

MASSIVE congrats on your delivery. Keep it in good shape!

The Red looks spectacular and am looking 4wd to more pictures, impressions, experience.

What engine did you get again? 5.8l seems super economical considering size and weight. I only manage ~9l on my 330i (B48, sport mode).

OHV, Did your car come with the front license plate holder?

I'm in CA and have already received two tickets in the past month on one of our cars for no front license plate after it was stolen. For fellow rule followers does anyone have advice for a front license plate holder?

I found this one online: https://stonsho.com/products/front-l...-i5-m60-sns378

There should also be an OEM for the US version?

That one looks better than the side mount. Luckily in Washington, our cops don’t bother people who don’t mount front plates, as long as it is visible on the dash for toll cameras.

We in Germany have known the same thing with license plates at the front and back for 128 years.

Finally took delivery today. Even after reading and watching videos for the past 3 months, sitting in the car still feels a little intimidating. Considering this is my first new vehicle since a 2003 Toyota Tundra, I've got a lot to get used to. Despite the initial intimidation, I am definitely looking forward to learning about all the features and getting used to it. Here is the first photo while charging at the dealer. More to come later after I have more time to play.

Congrats - great to see you finally pick up the car - looks fantastic! It’s taken me some time to really get to grips with how to personalize the car, I’ve got 3,500miles on mine now in 4 months and I’m still trying new things out.

Wow Skyking! I’m sure that was worth the wait. It’s beautiful

Learning about it has been fun. I know what you’re doing this weekend.

It’s so shiny!

I'm really thinking of getting that color, but I'd like to see it in person first, or at least some photos from folks who have that color.

Thanks in advance!
I also wanted to get that color. But red is tricky. Many shades but was willing to risk it. But, wasn’t available when I build up my car on the preorders.

Great looking car, Sky. So much to learn, but so much fun.

Loved my G30, but frankly, this is in a whole different league. Yeah, the G30 was a prettier car but everything else about this car is just beyond impressive. Currently getting 29.6 mpg between city and highway driving. That's the kind of number I'd expect from a 4 cylinder. It's astonishing to get this from a 6 cylinder conservatively rated at 375hp. I have no idea how BMW puts up numbers like this.

More of this please! It’s great to hear more ownership experience as we all get wrapped around the axle of specs and pictures. Gotta admit, I’d be interested to drive a 540 sometime to compare/contrast.

Congrats! I bet there's a steep learning curve but you'll get there and never look back.
