Hi All,
Since we have a thread about how much the range exceeds BMW’s figures, let’s do the same with our acceleration runs 😈. I haven’t seen many instrumented reviews out there from the Car and Driver/Motor Trends of the world and I’ve been curious how much BMW underrated their performance numbers. Here’s a run I did on a flat surface pulling onto a highway off of a stop light straightaway. I had 95% charge and climate was set to 70F on low fan speed. This was using the launch control in sport but with traction control (do they even call it that anymore?) on. Obviously this isn’t the most scientific way to perform an acceleration test but still fun! Curious what others have gotten from their cars. |

That feels about right . Well that's what my body tells me. Need to get that app and give it a try myself.

I’m intrigued to see what the 540 does. Mine seems really quick.

Cool. I knew BMW underestimates their times. I always figured it was to sell you performance parts that you probably don’t need.
