Mine got "better-ish" late on Saturday as well. I wish BMW would leave the My BMW app home page to show date and time always. Sometimes it just says Ready for Action, and you cannot see the last time update.

I’ve noticed that ready for action seems to appear when you’re in Bluetooth range of the car and it’s listening for the passive entry function.

Even if I am quite far from my car, I can be miles and miles away, I randomly get the ready for action on the BMW app page, instead of the all good with the time date stamp. I cannot explain it. This started months and months ago with my iX After a BMW app update. #NotAFan

Weird! I never get ready for action unless I’m very nearby. I guess it remains a mystery…

Hi, did you solve your problem? I have similar issue with iX couple of days: it shows current status but no remote commands could be sent to the car. Is it a problem with the app or with BMW servers?

My app lost the ability to connect with my calendar a couple weeks ago—don’t want to uninstall because then I lose the key and have to go through all that again. Hoping an update fixes it. Even before that broke (the phone no longer sees it to give permission or not for calendar), it had stopped automatically populating the next calendar event on the nav screen as a destination—and going into those upcoming destinations changed just to the addresses, not the name of the calendar event as it had been before.

Update: App update for iOS today allowed me to reconnect my calendar access for the app.

I took action myself, and did what usually "fixes" the BMW app (unless it is actually a server issue).

Go into System Settings and uncheck all data privacy allowances and then do a iDrive reboot. Then enable all data privacy allowances and then reboot iDrive again. Now, log out of your BMW app for a few mins, and then log back in.

This brought my app back and has been working much better, but still not 100%.

Thanks! My case is that the app can't send commands to the car but the status and other info gets updated without problem. I can send destination from mobile phone to car's navi as well.

Try what I described. This is what I do when I cannot send remote commands and/or set a precondition time.
