Too bad BMW wanted nothing to do about my complaints over the max distance I can get with the I4 50! Being the first addition 2022 the dealership and BMW never discussed or properly displayed its true range which falls way short of its suggested range!!!

Edmunds tested the i4 M50 in its real world EV test and it beat the EPA estimate by 41 miles. The temperature was 75 degrees, wheel size was 20”.

Driving in ECO mode and 55 and then fudged a little. I have the 20” and I can assure u this is not happening. Further why doesn’t BMW display the average range that includes cold weather or various driving styles? I think u know the answer BMW!

I think the best way to do this is to look at your average efficiency in mi/kWh and multiply by the battery capacity. That way you’re looking at measured quantities - distance driven and energy used - range displays are wild guesses in my book.
