G60 520i in europe has more advanced 48V system than other regions
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Models facing Europe: B48TU2 with P1 ISG 48V (provide extra 18ps, overall 208ps) Models facing other regions: B48TU2 with P0 BSG 48V (provide extra 11 ps, overall 190ps) Even manufactured in the same plant, the 48V systems are different. Why BMW did this? |

This has nothing to do with the states. There is no small ICE there.
In China, BMW apparently wants the big engines to be bought. |
