Does anyone have a link to instructions for the BMW mobility kit

I generally know how how to use it but I know the container with the sealant can be used more than once but I can't see any way to guage how long to leave it on the tire before removing it.
It's the kind of thing I'd like to familiarize myself with before I have to use it (which will hopefully be never... LOL).

For example, you can watch this video and read the instructions.

Having run F30 and G20 3ers with run flats, I looked for this video before I even ordered my G60. I had little faith in inflation kits, not sure why. Even more so after so many years on RFTs.

But it seems a lot simpler than I expected, surprisingly. Tempting fate perhaps mind you...

It'll be fine.
Felt the same way. After the X3, I haven't driven an non RFT for a long time.

Does the mobility kit come with the car or is that a purchased accessory?

Here's a much more detailed YouTube link that explains its use very clearly. The graphics on the sealant can are very, very sparse and, frankly, impossible to follow. This, however, clears it up.

It comes with the car if you opt for it, but it deletes the limited use spare. I was furious when I learned this as I had already received my vehicle and would have preferred the limited use spare (i.e. donut spare). I expected that the donut would be located under the floor of the trunk and couldn't understand why it was not present. My salesperson claimed [incorrectly] that the donut spare was simply not an option. After checking with the genius line and confirming that it was, in fact, an option so long as the mobility kit was not checked, I terminated any contact with this salesperson and contacted the leadership team at the dealership to express my outrage. They were very professional and accommodating and they provided me with the donut spare and all that came with it at no cost.
I point this out so that prospective buyers need to be aware that if they want the donut spare DO NOT check off the mobility kit as this will delete the donut spare.

I *think* the only option for i5 is the mobility kit due to the reduced trunk space. Might be wrong though….

Yes, that’s the only option for the i5. I also kept my air compressor and cans of Fixaflat from my old car. Belt and suspenders.

Wow, thanks for pointing this out. Just ordered a 540 with this option. One of the main reasons I bought this car was to have Non run flats with a spare. Contacting dealer to delete this mobility kit option. BMW sure knows how to piss off the customers. What a bunch of crap!

Happy I was able to help. Salespeople really need to get more familiar with the products they sell so that the customer has a chance to make an informed decision.

Good luck with the car. It's great and, after 12 years on RFT's (F10 and G30) the switch to regular tires has been terrific. The ride is so much better!

Looking forward to the non run flat tires. Run flats are a crappy ride. BMW is trying to save $$ with this underhanded, so called free option. Not only that, the mobility kit looks like a cheap POS, and I would hate to rely on it in an emergency. All the sales people are clueless.

Yeah. You can pick up a mobility kit (nothing but sealant and a compressor) for $40 on Amazon. You may be right that there's an incentive on the part of BMW and their salespeople to push buyers toward deleting the donut spare by inadvertently opting for that mobility kit. The donut spare, jack, lug wrench etc. probably retails for over $500.

I'm glad the G60 doesn't have runflat tires. I had never used them before when I put runflats on my wife's Mazda about two years ago. Ever since, she's been complaining that the ride is rougher than it used to be and I didn't realize it had anything to do with the tires until I was educated in these forums.

When they wear out, we will definitely NOT be putting more runflats on her car.
