wow these are getting pricey. Inflation on base and inflation in package cost PLUS giving two M-Sport packages to make it look good.
They made the base models so plain that both M-sport packages are a requirement on top of the increase in price. MB is such a mess that we won't know pricing until 2024. The GLC and GLE 2024 are already on dealer lots and the build your own still isn't even up. They never even announced publicly the GLE pricing. BMW wins overall, just hurts to see what they want to charge.

So no adaptive suspension available for the 530i or the i5 eDrive40?
This seems VERY odd.

Any idea about four zone climate control? Only two zone is mentioned with nothing in the options or packages.

BMW seems to be stripping adaptive suspension on EV. Ix lost its rear steer and air suspension. I’m starting to wonder if there is a parts constriction or they can make cars faster without the options installed.

The way BMW USA is allowing you to configure the new 5/i5 is not appealing to me. I’m not crazy about the interior colors and options are lacking.
Compared to my 2023 BMW 540i. Doesn’t make me feel strong enough about the new 5/i5 to make me want to trade up.

Spec’d a fully loaded i5 M60 and it came to $98,495. Seems steep, especially given the range.

I'm starting to think that the price of DAP is a typo. It's $2,100 for the new models with highway assist (i7, iX, X5, etc.) and CAD2,500 in Canada so I think it should be $2,100 here as well? Maybe I'm wrong.

While prices are pretty steep, that vast majority will be leased to receive the $7500 tax credit.
BMW is already doing heavy discounting on their new EVs (iX and i7). Combine discounts with tax credit and we are finally starting to see lease payments at ~1% of MSRP again (and sometimes less). I expect we'll see moderately equipped i5 e40s leasing for ~$700/month after the early adopter rush, which isn't bad. |

Previous cars f10 and g30 didn’t have all options available day1 . Bmw seem to update thei models every 6 months so I would expect to see other options appear in 6 and 12 months respectively.
If it were me wanting a g60 I’d hold back a year if possible as I suspect there will be more items added |

Even the M340i had adaptive dampers available since the first model year. Why the G60 doesn't have them as an option on the 530i and i5 eDrive40 just baffles me. Also, why Canada gets 4-zone climate control as an option and no new 5/i5 in the U.S. can, just doesn't make sense.
