Smoke White Veganza - how hard to keep clean?

For those that have these seats, how hard are they to keep clean. I have 2 kids, both boys at 9 and 6. My wife is worried it will be hard to keep clean. I will already have rules for eating and drinking in the car, but I’m also thinking of getting a rear seat cover. Thoughts?

I have these and I've had no problem. But I also treated them with McKees leather cleaner and protectant just to be on the safe side. I think this veganza material is pretty indestructible unless you were to get an ink stain on them or something like that.

Can’t speak to these seats but I currently have a Tesla with white vegan seats.

Best suggestion I got back then - ceramic coat the seats. Yes this is a thing and it’s amazing how well it works. Only lasts a few years and it’s about 200-300 CAD.

Part of the problem is that no one knows what materials are in veganza. Other cars and even BMW Sensatec is just cloth and hydrocarbons (plastics) coating the fibers. I think Mercedes is plant based and I’m thinking Veganza is probably plant based. It doesn’t have the stink of other pleathers.

I have an i5 with the white Veganza seats. I also have a 9-year old who eats chips, ice cream, crackers and other random stuff in the backseat.

No issues with cleaning, they look very nice after the first six months. I seem to see a bit of a blue hue on the driver seat from my jeans, so that may require some treatment.

Please follow-up after you clean those seats and let us know if the jean dye lifts well (I expect it to).

If I go Red I'm going to make a case for the white seats. Looked at several cars in Phytonic last week and was just not inspired by the color....such a disappointing blue!

I have my car less than a week, so I can't really say, but I really like the look of the Smoke White seats. I was concerned about keeping them clean too, but I just didn't like the other interior choices.

I have a Porsche 911 with their white leather and it's been a disaster to keep pristine. Still, it's a very different material...Porsche uses a very fine leather that almost has a linen-like texture to it, and it's very susceptible to dye transfer - to the point where I have a "no jeans allowed" policy for that car. Even with that, I have a box of leather care products and spend a lot of time keeping after the seats.

On the other hand, I also have an older Mercedes GLK with its off-white leather, and with nothing more than occasional detailing, it still looks like new.

My 540 seems like a more rugged material than what's in the Porsche, so I'm hoping it will behave more like my Mercedes. Still, just in case, I had an interior protectant applied and they guarantee a stain-free experience for four years. I usually don't have much faith in these things and it wasn't exactly cheap, but it seemed worthwhile.
