You have to do everything via touch screen or I Drive 8.
I hope they dont do that with the G60.

I haven't seen or heard anyone on here or in my daily life give positive feedback on touch screens. It's distracting and unsettling and many people don't want to have finger prints all over their displays. This is from people I know that drive higher end cars like BMW, MB, Lexus , etc. I hope it's a fad.
I have a touchscreen in my S-Class and a touchpad in my GLE. Do I prefer the touchpad over the screen? Yes, that being said, its far from a deal breaker. As long as the infotainment is logical and usable, I am fine with touchscreens.

It won't be a fad, most brand surveys find that people want touchscreens.
It just is weird to me that the surveys say this, yet everyone I talk to disagrees. Not arguing what you're saying. Just observing a discrepancy between this and real life opinions I hear.

Looks quite good to me, the headlights do seem to resemble the new 3 series LCI. Curious what the interior looks like. Any guesses when we should see the design revealed officially?

Production begins next July 2023, so probably end of this year or q1 next year?

Everything I've read assumes later this year. But they're running out of time. Maybe it will be the next big reveal now that the 7 and X7 LCI and 3 have been shown off.

I'm so excited for it. I was going to buy a G30 LCI, but I think holding off for the next model is the correct future proof decision. I just hope they won't hike up the price too much for the G60.

Not liking how the trunk slopes downwards like a Mercedes CLS.

I don't mind that. It just looks kind of boring, overall. I think it will be more enticing when it loses all the camo.

I don't like how the back makes it look a bit more benzish. Overall shape still looking very close to the current 5 series, definitely need to wait to get a clearer look of it with less camo.

At first I thought it looked like the E39 and G30 had a really big baby together. But I can see some F10 in there also. I'll keep looking at the photos every time new ones come out because I want to pass the time, but I've resigned myself to the fact that I have no clue if I like it until it's really revealed.

I'm guessing now the length will be more noticeable on the interior than it's ICE predecessor

I too thought it had a bit of a Benz look to it, maybe the c class. I think what looks like a higher waistline is making think this

It's definitely because of the downward slope on the trunk, the CLS does the same thing. The high waistline come to think of it, is another design similarity with the CLS as well lol.
