Nope. Been at the port for almost 8 weeks with zero updates from BMW other than maybe November?

Break recall looks like was done at the port. Now we wait for the spindle recall. As far as I can tell they do not have the steering spindles available as of yet. I am hoping I am wrong. I called BMW customer service to see about availability numbers and I may have well asked my wife..... would have been the same answer.

It's funny to me that the potentially involved value is more than double the approximately affected value. what's up with that?

I get the same number. There are 5 models listed, each has their own approximately $x vehicles

I don’t understand. The individual counts add up to 982, which is the total declared at the start of the document.

What I don’t get with this document is that none of the affected models, dates go to September 4th. But then the notice BMW put out to dealers has the date range as up to and including September 4th.

This doc is also on the NHTSA website.

(I’m UK based so am less familiar with NHTSA but Todd also shared it on the main recall thread)

Anybody have this done yet? Been waiting for delivery to dealer. Stuck at VPC (NJ/NY) since 9/28.

Mine has been at the same VPC since 8/21. I’m told it’s all fixed but waiting to be shipped to the dealer. Maybe this weekend?

when i got the letter from bmw and when i plug my vin into the recall website, it still says "remedy unavailable" ?

That just means they haven’t fixed it yet. Mine said that until last week.
