I love the new Honda Accord 5 series lol I’m sure it’ll look better when fully revealed

How do you figure?
It will be bigger and heavier than everything that came before.

Yeh the i5 will be heavier simply down to the battery. I’m sure it’ll be somewhere between 2 and 2.5 tons but that’s just my guess. What will be interesting will be the weights of the ICE models
They managed to shed around 100kg from f10 to g30 using more aluminium but not sure how much more they could shave off As the i5 will be undoubtedly heavier , crash wise it’s going to have to be built to cater for that extra weight so the ICE may suffer from weight as it’s a common platform But what do I know, I’m speculating Next month we’ll all find out I’m certainly interested in this but not that interest to get rid of my 2023 m550! |

The parallel led striping pattern reminds me of F10 LCI tail lights barring the curved profile.

E12 is exactly what sprung to mind... and also the Peugeot 508. Slanted boot lid like the E12 and the 508, tail light corners like the French car, too.

But, I think, it is going to be one of the best designs since their coke meltdown with the G80.

Very hard to tell from the spy shots, but based on these pics looks like BMW got scared of IG and YouTube trolls and decided to stick with an outdated design where you can't tell if the car is 10 years old or it was just released.

I like it. Definitely is going more subdued. Hopefully no major loss of space in the boot. Seems somewhat reminiscent of the older gen Merc E-Class. And that’s not a bad thing

IMO, this chief designer is not as talented as he think he is, and BMW management is not as sharp hiring this guy as they thought they were.
