Price? Not looking pretty guys:

Base Price (before any option):530i xDrive: $70,500 // i5 M60: $95,000.

Start of production will be 07/23.

Priced one out to a spec I would buy $85,800. For a 530i. I’m afraid to see what a spec’d put 540i will be and that would be the model I would buy.

I priced a 2023 on the configurator and the prices didn't increase much from 2023 to 2024 MY. I'm not saying it's not expensive, but the base model just sees a 1000$ CAD increase from 2023 to 2024.

Still hoping to get that pricing guide though :-) I may ask my dealer if we get no answer here today.

US - USD$85,095
Europe - €99,500
UK - £96,840

It does appear that US spec has more standard equipment (e.g. B&W, Multi-contour seats) and I'd assume the packages are less expensive (e.g., premium package will likely be ~$3K instead of ~$6K)

That's because the package includes B&W... tbh I'm surprised the packages don't cost more, the B&W system alone in other BMW models costs ~$5k.

No soft close doors annoys me...

Ah good catch. Given B&W is standard in the US, it explains why the starting price is higher.

I believe H&K is standard in most US 5 series and the B&W Surround System is standard in the US M60, optional in others. Not the Diamond available in the 7.

Apple iPhone ranges from $500 to $1500, B&W logo on audio system means nothing, they make audio speakers in all price ranges, same for vehicles. Yes it looks nice but in this supply chain and cost market we are not getting a $5k audio system standard.

My Genesis GV60 Performance doesn't have soft close doors either. I suspect that it is a weight issue; one of the tradeoffs for range and/or power.

I had soft close doors on my prior 530e and on my current Genesis G80 loaner and, to me, it is a minor issue. But what is minor to one person can be major to another and that is one of the reasons that it is nice that there are now so many car companies making EVs.

Anyone have access to the US Pricing Guide yet for i5 M60? I'm just curious.

I personally wrote-off the i5 due to the low battery capacity, and picked up an i7 ... but just wondering what my i5 build would have cost if I decided to keep my pre-order that I had cancelled/refunded.

You are correct! Apparently it's only $950 so it's not the Diamond $4,800 on 7s or the $3,400 ones on the 8s, M550 or X5s
