G60 weight for I5 and non-I5 models and 0-60 times?

Anyone know the weights for the I5 and the non-I5 models? I thought I read the I5 was 5,300 pounds??

Wasn't the G30 4300 pounds?

Trying to figure out how the I5 IS only 3.9 from 0-60 while the G30 M550i (now, granted.....BMW underrates so I bet this actually ends up being 3.5-3.6) has way less power and is 3.5 from 0-60. However, if there is a 1,000 pound weight difference that would explain...

Am I assuming the I5 is going to be the fastest 5 series until the M5 is out? Or are they supposed to introduce a gas-powered M60i or whatever that will fit in between the M5 and i5?

No surprise the BEV is heavier. The G70 760i is 5095 lbs and the i7 60 is 5917 lbs, so almost 900 lbs more for the EV.

Next year there will be a M560e with an I-6 + PHEV at 565 hp combined, but I don’t expect that to feel much faster than the i5 M60. V8 is gone except in the M5, which will have the XM’s PHEV power train tuned to 700 hp.

Yes, per BMWUSA.com the M550i is 4383 lb, just over the M5 at 4345 lb. The 540iX is 4138 lb and the 540i is 3957 lb.
