Everyone seems to have forgotten about this very first leak:



Assuming that this is indeed a production rear bumper in plain view, with a body color middle section around the reversing light* and two big black sections on the sides, and not some optical illusion due to a couple of black items blocking the view in a convenient way, could this be anything else other than the next M5?

Indeed, neither of the 3 bumpers we already know of (regular, M Sport, M Performance) have that middle section in exposed body color:





In theory, the leak might as well be a normal 5er with its black rear valance removed exposing the white body color and some black items covering the view in the foreground. However the latest M5 spyshots suggest that the bumper doesn't have one single cutout for housing the diffusor and the tailpipes as usual, but indeed two halves around a barren middle section:




I can't instantly think of another example of such partitioned rear bumper than the Peugeot 308 CC, which I think has a weird bathtub/toilet seat vibe to it, just like the rather uncanny body color section on the latest X6, so if that leak is indeed the M5 then it better have a wild diffusor on each side




The leak seems to be missing a decent carbon rear spoiler and obviously the badge, but the black roof does look like it's ribbed as you'd expect of an M5.
