Opinionated License Plate - At Chick Fil A

Back in April, at a time I was not yet an active member of this forum, I was taking my little nephew through the drive thru at Chick-fil-A and suddenly noticed a car in front of me. Everyone, of course, is entitled to express their opinion with their First Amendment rights in the US. It elicited a snort and laugh from me.

I wondered if he was also going to give me the stink eye, for driving yet another German brand through the drive thru.

It did invoke a sense of mystery in me as to why this young 20'something Gen Z guy in a "supped up" de-badged Toyota Corolla, felt this way. Did he buy an ancient, abused M3 that became a money pit? What was it? Let the speculation begin

No opinion on the speculation, but this did give me a good laugh, so I’m happy. Great post!

Regarding license plates, someone seems to be a bit confused.

So either BMW are his initials, Or his prior car was a BMW and he's too cheap to let the license plate go, Or......he is admitting BMW is #1. Lol

There’s some kind of supporter badge on the license plate. Probably a cop’s car.

Ohio has tons of specialized plate options. One is “Patrol Supporter” that goes to the Ohio Highway Patrol fund. That’s what this one is. Another one, is Ohio C.O.P.S. (Concerns of Police Survivors).

It could definitely be a police officer, but I saw the guy. I don’t know what dress code is for police officers these days, but his hair was down to his shoulders. Most people that I know that have that plate do so as a means of the chance to avoiding a speeding ticket. 😄
