B&W is “only” $950 option. I doubt it’s the same high end system as the $3500 option in the X5, X7, etc. Still, anything better than the HK I guess.

It's basically the current HK, just rebranded to B&W

Correct, confirmed by the resident insider over on the upcoming models thread. Disappointing as I don’t need xdrive and don’t want the extra cost or weight.

My dealer has an allocation for one 540i thus far. I expressed interest with the dealer over the summer. I have secured the order. My production date is listed as week of Oct. 30th!!

Spoken to dealers, however there are no incentives yet, and so the pricing isn’t correct. Just waiting on the real numbers now.

If ordering ZMP can you still delete 704 (M Sport suspension) like in previous years?

Or can I just order the M Sport Steering wheel and M Sport breaks by themselves which is really all I want from the M Sport package.

Yeah, $78k for basically the same functionality as my current G30 540i MSport with 40k miles that’s paid for. And I can’t get Silverstone merino ZLS multi function comfort seats, just black or copper that’s too similar to my mocha nappa. Sure, it’s the new design and all, I like it but I need more convincing. Maybe when the dealer gets one in January/February I’ll drive it and it’ll push me over the edge.

I noticed it shows the same 5.8 0-60 as the 530i. Looks like they need to do some tweaking to the site.

I'm not too fond of the options and packages either... I will give it more time maybe they will add some more next year.

Is the order guide from the first post up to date? Trying to see if there are any standard items pushed back to March like what they did for the 530i.

I have not been able to find a clear picture of the rear end of the 2024 540, will it has the same exhaust pipes as the 2023 540 or will it have the fake cut outs and a dump tailpipe exhaust ? This could be a deal breaker for me.

The covered exhaust tip, missing adaptive suspension and lack of M performance exhaust...also..missing the led interior lights...I kinda like the new design cuz it reminds me my dad's old E60 5 series...but it's trying to push me away...

I might just wanna wait and see how the AMG E53 look like...it's funny that I got into the same situation 5 years ago and eventually went for C43 instead of 440i...multiple package issues and the deal breaker was when i found out they charge on Apple Carplay as a monthly subscription...it's not that i don't want to pay for $15 a month, just how BMWNA treat customers as total morons...

I got my production number and I should be getting the car (540xi, black sapphire metallic, smoke white veganza interior, dark oak high gloss wood trim, luxury seats, B&W audio, premium package) by mid-March.
