G60 with M Performance Parts (Fire Red)

Is this the same red sold in the U.S. as a “Vegas Red Metallic?” I wouldn’t be surprised. In many world markets, for example, paint code A90 is “Sophisto Gray Metallic” or “Sophisto Gray Brilliant Effect” but in the U.S. is “Dark Graphite Metallic” and now “Dark Graphit Metallic II”, technically, due to paint sourcing issues after the Tsunami in Japan years back…

Yes. Fire Red = Vegas Red.

In the United States, only fire trucks are allowed to have FIRE RED.

Yessir, Fire Engines! Used to work with US Public Safety (Fire/Police/EMS) so just passing along their "ackshually humor" with a wink.

It's like "correcting" someone who calls an X3 an "SUV" by telling them it's an SAV/Crossover and not an SUV.

But, I don't wish to detract from this beautiful Fire/Vegas Red 5er anymore. It makes me thirsty for red!

But I can't help but wonder... the I5 40 had a CD of 23. The M60 drops to 25. What's the effect of these addition? (Not only on CD but on range?)

All washed and sunny, so here’s a few pics!

My Maxton Design front splitter got ripped off driving through flood waters after only a few weeks fitted

Buuuut…..I’m actually preferring at the moment the standard look again. (As I was going to get a new one fitted along with the side skirts, but holding off for now).
And I’ve still got the rear spoiler extension on which I love….

Plus got my new number plate added, although not sure about it…

I’ve got V10 MSM as an option too (my initials), or if I want to be a wannabe- still got my TH15 MYM plate from my old F10 M5……

I vote for sans-lip. The shape of the lower facia is muted with the lip in place.
