That's a shame.

The grill light looks good imo, aggressive and shows road presence!

So basically the new version of M grille stripes that everyone buys on Amazon and puts on base model X3s? Yay.

I don’t even know where that trend came from or how it started. I think it’s worse than additional M badges on the car.

Bmw should make this standard equipment and charge to delete it.

This may be the future, but, best to hold on to your existing 5 series if you can.

Why? I don’t get this. Obviously the new one will be leaps and bounds better in every way, just like 7 was.

Holding onto my current G30......

only to wait when the supply chain stabilizes and a couple model years gone by to order a G60. Futuristic, will make G30 look dated more than G30 did to the F10.

Sadly they locked most of the coding so you can’t code anything. We whine about this in the iX forum.

It’s a race to complicate the drivers mind like Tesla did on their model 3.

Years of muscle memory study in executing the perfect tactile feel of a button or switch now exchanged for “tech”. I’m showing my age… and my bitterness.

I agree...in stress buttons and knobs with different feel and colors win every time.

Hopefully getting a car with a 32inch tv stops in the next few years

It was more a jovial comment. For my tastes, V8 options, no hybrid, less computerised cockpit, iDrive 6 or 7 with a proper Instrument cluster with no iPads as my screen, solid buttons to press and engage, DRLs (front) that help you recognise thats a good looking
BMW headed your way from a mile away and a few other personal preferences...

New, more sophisticated and more technology doesnt always mean better IMO. Its like a marriage, for some it will work. For some, it will not and theres always the cat on the wall section of people too.

The grill really does not look big like the 3 or 7 series. The headlights look a bit smaller, but nothing drastic. Haters gonna hate.
