Has anyone used BimmerCode to change features?

If so, what can be coded, can video in motion be turned on, enabling you to watch TiVo, YouTube and play games while driving?

Not sure, I went on their website and it doesn’t specify, I know here in NY there are some people with experience who claim it can be done

Where is the contact point for the BT unit? I’ll try doing some coding. Need to do window stop when do opening delete, maybe some alternate colors in interior drive lights and just poke around lol

Thats a great question, I have to admit I never checked I assumed it was under the dash like always.

This sucks so much.

Over the last 9 years, I've gotten used to anti-dazzle high beams and variable light distribution working as designed (coded). Yet, even in G60, we continue to get the "US special".

Would be nice if BMW pushed some OTA update now that the tech is legal here. I would even pay for it.

Give me a little hope! Don't say it can't be done!

I was really looking forward to unleashing the cars true features and having the ability to unlock thinks like:

video in motion / dvd in motion
video via usb
disable seatbelt chimes
remove the speed governor
changes the display
close trunk via remote
maybe add a few ambient color combos

all things we were able to do previously.

Same here! Bummer codes done so much over the years, horn delete, start up warning, window stop when opening doors, and everything you mentioned

I contacted Bimmercode also on 4/2/24 and this is the status from them for the G60 versions. We are SOL!

"The latest BMW models like the G60 use secure coding and most control units can only be coded using BMW software. We are looking for a solution, but honestly speaking, coding may these models with third-party apps will never be possible most likely."

I have a 2024 BMW 5 Series. Yesterday (Oct 6th) I asked why the BMW 5 Series was no longer showing up in the app when I connected and was told ...

Dear Customer - Unfortunately, this model is no longer supported. BMW has introduced additional safety measures that prevent any third-party coding for these models.
