What stage is it at now in the process? If on the ship or at the arrival port I’d say possibly.

As noted, build week is 46 which is Nov 11th.

So assume completed by Nov 16.

Transport to port 1 week.

Transport to CA 4 weeks.

Transport to PNW 1.5 weeks.

I’m thinking just maybe.

But more likely around Jan 15, 2025.

Quite honestly, with people in build week 36, still having not received their vehicles yet, and 350,000 vehicles give or take still in various states of shipment, backlog, stop sale, or remediation, I think it's sadly going to go like this.

Start build - November 11th
Stop at stage Quality Control - November 13th or 14th.
Sit in Quality Control - 6-8 weeks
Sit waiting for transit - 3-7 days
Arrive at Port - Wait 1-3 weeks for transit
Transit - 4-5 weeks
VPC: 2-3 days
Dealer: 1-3 days

Receive your car late February or early March. This is assuming your production slated for November actually happens. Someone else recently, can't recall the thread just had their 550e bumped from November to a period in 2025.

I don’t see a resson for a stop at Quality Control since the braking defect does not apply to my build.

Mine is not affected by the stop sale either, and is approaching 6 weeks in QC. Best of luck and may the wind be at your back!

There is also a steering spindle stop sale for cars built July - 9/4.

I think it's so weird. Mine was a week 36 build. Week 41 delivery to dealer. It did arrive a week late to the dealer, due to Spanish Customs, but other than that everything has been ON Schedule.

Maybe after the double recall fiasco things are getting back on track. We can hope.

I said OMG because any QC over 15 minutes means trouble, most likely something missing that could take days, weeks or months to get.

Very disappointing that BMW can’t build cars on time anymore unlike my 2020, 2022 and 2024.

The whole experience has been such a disappointment. This is my first BMW. I based my expectations on what people were reporting in January-June 2024. Most of those, however, were people with i5's or 530's.

In recent weeks, people with 550e's have actually cleared the factory faster than my ordered 540. Other than one person on the forum, who is an American in Spain, not one other person has received their 540 to my knowledge.

Yeah, the 2026s will be orderable within a month or two of 2025 delivery.

That's me. I'm the American in Spain. I think mine is maybe the very first 2025 540 to be delivered, period. However there are a few 2024's, like Psych Doc that got their 540's.

Congratulations! This is a true test that whatever issues they were experiencing related to the stop sales and massive recall campaigns are no longer affecting non-recalled vehicles.

Two ships Nov 25 and 26 leave Bremerhaven for Port Hueneme with arrivals Dec 22 and 23.

My car is due to the port Hueneme on December 4, I was told 2 to 3 weeks for it to make the trip up to Washington state.
