Feature questions/avail in US

Placed my order on an i5 M60, but still have some questions, since there seems to be a lot of differences between different markets.

If you choose M Veganza/Alcantara, it says the seats get replaced with sport seats vs. multicontour. The configurator shows a difference, but what is the actual difference in comfort and controls like lumbar adjustments?

Just realized that Vegas Red is available from the ordering guide, so I think I'm going with that.

Ordering guide says dual climate control, so I assume that means it's just vents in the back, not the multifunction screen that is shown in some pictures/videos?

Don't hold me to this but my local genius had told me...iirc...you won't get the passenger door's memory seat function and....something else that slips me.

It’s multi function not contour, similar to iX. You’ll get passenger memory, power thigh support, and power headrest. Both have adjustable bolsters and lumbar.

Anyone know if the M60 comes with the M colors on the seatbelts? I have seen it on the the demo cars, but not listed anywhere in the configirator.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll switch it to plain black then, or upgrade to Merino.

Looks like BMW is ditching the RFT's. And as much as I don't love them, they've really saved my behind at least three times over the past 10 years.

Does anyone know if the new G60 (540) can be ordered with RFT's?

I didn’t see RFT as an option. I wouldn’t mind it. I hit a pothole in my Jag and it cost me $2k for a wheel and tire replacement.

No; they come with a spare tire as standard.

I asked my dealer. The demo they have has the M Veganza seats. He told me the difference is the M Veganza are only availble if youorder the M Sport Package. Otherwise the seat structure is identical to all the others. Only if you get the LUX seats they have more adjustments. Otherwise you are NOT getting the M Sport seats (Racing Seats) Only the upholstery is different.

The US cars do not have the M colors on the seatbelts.

Right. They also don't have the M badging on the side of the car, and the eDrive40 doesn't have the colored stitching on the M Sport steering wheel or the red center marker (only the M60 gets the steering wheel colored stitching and the red center marker).
