Question about navigation settings
I notice that after I arrive at any given destination and get out and lock the car, when I get back in minutes or hours later, the car seems to automatically put in my home address as a destination. And while this is often helpful, it can be an annoyance if I'm not heading home from wherever I am.
I've looked in the nav menu and I didn't see any setting that enables/disables this feature. Is there any way to allow the driver to control this? |

I believe iDrive is looking to be predictive here - I’ve seen that happen with work and home (I store them as my destinations anyway) - I actually have the opposite reaction when I’m ready to go home I’m irritated if the car doesn’t prompt me with that location in the Nav (only really interested for the range predictions, efficiency data etc.)

It has to do with the nav "learning mode." It seems the car is trying (too hard) to help us. If you uncheck learning mode in the nav settings this no longer happens.

I noticed today there was a software update. My navigation now shows charging locations by default, no more gas stations. It’s also added my estimated state of charge at the end of my trip. Not sure what else was updated.

I’ve noticed suggested destinations that are on upcoming iPhone calendar events. One event had “Davis Hall” as the location instead of a complete address and I noticed the car suggesting a location hundreds of miles away with that phrase in the address.
