Engine oil over max

I got my car a couple of months ago and i drove it 6000 km , and today while i was driving i drove a little bit too harsh i was speeding on twisty and bumpy roads going around 120 kmh or i think 75 miles , then i got a warning that says oil level over max , i measured the oul on the idrive and it showed me that its indeed over the max , i waited for 20 mins then i measured it and its still over , is it because of my harsh driving ? Or not

Did you top off your oil at some point over the last 6000km?

Could be a bad oil level sensor (which I believe is mostly based on pressure). Could also be a software issue in which case it's likely other G60 drivers with the same engine would be reporting same. Take it in for service.

Agree with this, on the chance that the engine oil is a little high, you want to get that addressed.

It could also be a blown head gasket that is allowing antifreeze to mix with the oil. I’m glad the car is going in the shop soon….hopefully just a sensor but it could be more serious. I wouldn’t drive much until you know for sure…
