Hey guys, I'm out of Philadelphia and my car has been at the port in Germany since November 10th. Trying to get a better sense of when the car will actually ship and which port it will come into here in the US.

I was in port on December 8th and sat in port until today the 27th. Turns out though that my car was on a ship the 20th and because of the holidays it did not show in transit status until the 27th. My car has been in transit to Newark New Jersey for 7 days already and should arrive states side on the 4th of January.

I would say call the BMW Genius hotline and ask if you are in transit. Hell you might be on the same ship as me if your car is headed to the New York area docks. Your purchase order should have the port listed also. You can try your sales associate also to find out which port your car will come through.

My Garage isn’t completely accurate. I was sure I had missed my ship, but it showed In Transit a few days later. It was also wrong for saying when I was at the stateside port, in transit to the dealership and even at the dealership. It told me my car was there yesterday, but it didn’t show up until this afternoon. Your sales person will have the most accurate info. Just give them a call.

I'm in the Philly burbs. My car has been at port since 11/21. I did call the genius hotline last week and they couldn't provide much detail outside of waiting for a ship. My SA called me to update on the delay, he is expecting it here week 2-3 of January.

Hoping yours comes in soon, I called my SA and he said maybe it might get on the boat on January 2nd, but they have a car coming on Tuesday to the dealership that's similar to mine just a different color. Not sure why mines is still stuck when the one that's coming in is not attached to anybody.

I've been stuck "At Port" since Dec. 8th as well. Online Garage still says "At Port.." Can only hope to be so lucky that I already got on a boat. My SA has said that the status online doesn't always reflect where the car is... Good Luck everyone!

Mine too! Yes call the genius line and they’ll tell you what ship it’s on. I’m guessing we are in the same vessel.

Where are you located at? I’m in Ohio. I found a ship that left on the 8th sailing to Baltimore. Shows it as an 11 day journey.

Track Here. Type in vessel name when you know it. Once ship is out of terrestrial AIS range you can do a 7 day trial of the professional plan which has satellite tracking. Just do not forget to cancel the plan before 7 days is up. It is expensive.

I think the ship is Arc Integrity. Was the only ship i saw that left recently that is heading to Baltimore, MD.

Might be. I'll update after getting info from genius. I'm outside of Philly. I would have expected it to be a boat to the NJ/NYC port.
