Not sure if this has been covered but, do we have driveline loss like an ICE drivetrain loss and transmission getting BHP to the wheels?

Each drive unit has a reduction gear set. I am sure there is a very small amount of loss to the wheels. It would be nowhere near the loss of an ICE car due to no transmission.

A nice in-depth article about EV's and power loss.

Are dynos able to properly calculate the amount of power they are producing? But knowing BMW I am sure that they are producing more than officially claimed.

I mean it’s such a wide power delivery with electric. I’m just wondering if with less loss and constant powerband if our wheel HP if equal to a 630 or 640 hp ICE engine
