I see... I'm not sure if there's an option to disable it permanently. would you know? perhaps through iDrive? it's really rough on my volvo and the constant start-stop cycle probably gonna wear out the parts faster in Singapore's traffic; more harm than what it was designed for.

and yes, I rarely drive in sports mode. not even on my volvo which is polestar optimised. the roads here are just not inspiring and free enough for the machines to stretch some muscles.

please do come the third time. we welcome you! bet you miss the food here!

Thanks a lot for the photos, I've seen the color in older cars, but I don't know if in the G60 is even more blue or G60's owners take better photos

I was complaining that here in Spain, with lower averages salaries, we pay more than in Germany and USA, specially for the options... but I definitely shut up my mouth

absolutely. while we don't really pay high personal taxes here, there's a lot of implicit taxes.
just for your info, an entry level basic bare bone toyota starts from usd123k!
a camry here costs usd164k! and this is excluding the road taxes, insurance, fuel cost, maintenance, parking etc etc.

No doubt the dark blue hue on the CB is beautiful. I wanted this color but the whole "Batmobile" look of the sapphire black won in the end.

Black sapphire, black tints, with burgandy red interior. Can't wait to get it in my hands.

Congrats on the car. Beautiful. Enjoy it and may God bless it.

2 weeks after ceramic coating car and wheels. 1500 miles driven since coating being put on (don’t normally drive close to this much but had 3 events I needed to attend out of town, car has total of 2300 miles on clock owning it 5 weeks as of today), no washes yet (his first wash and check up is in 3 days) so car technically is very dirty but still looks clean! It’s been very difficult not cleaning it past 2 weeks, best self control I’ve ever displayed . Excited for his maintenance and check up detail this weekend! Fitted with 10mm front spacers and 12mm in rears (possibly thinking about going to 15mm in rears)

Nice to hear Cape York Green stays pretty. I have to wash my Tanzanite Blue almost every day. It’s ceramic coated, but still a bitch to keep clean. Rain, yellow pollen, more rain. Looking forward to summer. I might buy a car cover.

No, north of Seattle. Lots of trees, fir, pine, cypress, maple, cottonwood (the worst!). Once the yellow pollen is finished, then it will be the big white puffs of cottonwood. It looks like snow accumulation on the side of the road.

Yeah I had Tanzanite Blue on my previous G30. The Color is really beautifull especially in summer, but it’s hell to keep it clean. One rain or one little dirt and car looked always bad.
For comparison I have dravit gray i4 M50 and this car might be dirty as hell and still shines!

My husband said, why weren’t you washing your Jaguar this often? Because it was Carpathian Grey, similar to BMW Dravit.

Wow, looks gorgeous! I just had mine ceramic coated yesterday and picked it up today. I hope it stays as clean as yours looks after two weeks. I was told not to get it wet for the first week or two, and it has a check up visit in two weeks as well.

I had a TB F80, and when it was cleaned and waxed, it was spectacular, but that tended to last about one day, even in nice weather

Went from that to a MBB F90, and i could let that thing get dirty for *weeks* and it looked pristine

always something to consider when spec’ing a car lol

Agree with all the above - that CYG looks really nice! How much of the “staying clean” is down to the wrap vs the underlying color?

Has anyone wrapped the side skirts & the rear to paint match their 5er? I’m seriously contemplating doing that on my Oxide Grey 540. Way too much black for my liking.

Yep Oxide Grey and interior is black. At times it’s quite similar in appearance to my M5 Competition which was Donington Grey but other times there’s a golden tint to it.

Overall very happy with my choice.

BTW probably not the right place to discuss this but what exactly is the point of the driving modes when you can change any aspect of them other than in Sport mode?

The driving modes (my modes) change driving performance and ambient light settings too as well as the HUD and instrument panel settings. Not sure what you mean exactly, but in sport mode you have a lot of possible customizations of the driving performance. Not so in the other modes. Sport mode cannot be set as the startup mode.
