A pair of Teslas caught fire and were destroyed in San Francisco over the weekend just weeks after a self-driving electric vehicle was torched in a nearby neighborhood, according to authorities.
Over a 30-minute period early Saturday morning, the San Francisco Fire Department responded to two separate vehicle fires in close proximity, on Bonifacio Street near Mabini Street and Shipley Street between 4th and 5th streets, officials said.
The department extinguished the fires and began investigating at least one as a suspected arson.
Video obtained by CBS News Bay Area showed the origins of the second fire: a person setting the white Tesla Model Y ablaze around 12:45 a.m. The unidentified person ignited a fire in one of the wheel wells, causing the entire vehicle to go up in flames within minutes, the video shows.

Honestly, I agree.

When you look through our history we have stories of these environmental changes we blame on God's and their wrath. There's historical evidence that the black sea flooded rapidly creating stories of the great flood. The entirety of Doggerland sank underwater within human history.

Humans have spent so much time and energy and money developing areas that are on large bodies of water that are massively at risk of flooding. We KNOW the Earth changes temperatures over time, and we KNOW sea levels were at one point so high that the Great plains of the US were an inland sea, and at one point so low you could walk from Africa, across to Europe and Asia, and then on over to North America and South America. This is irrefutably known. But modern humanity requires the climate to be essentially static, because our investments are in risky locations. Nobody wants to have to adapt to a changing climate, but we will have to.

The greatest hubris of humanity is thinking that we will prevent a naturally occurring cycle from happening to preserve our status quo. But we have all manners of charlatans lining up to fleece us for massive amounts of money

Sorry, while I am not a greenie, I am fairly certain actual greenies who aren't announcing their outrage to the internet (or just Greta) probably know this, it is not them that needs to be educated on how to save the environment.

It's those in power, paired with the billionaires who sells the idea that eliminating CO2 as some silver bullet to solve all of the world's problems rather than try and tackle the multitude of issues. And the distracted and complicit general public, who has no energy to really care outside of their bubble that is more to blame.

Emission is something they can see and it is tangible. Great Pacific Garbage Patch, mineral extraction of all kinds, world hunger, child labour, clearcutting of old grove, microplastics, toxic waste, bleaching of corals, all of these and more, are not within the general public's scope of vision.

Everything you cited is a made-up Green bogey man with the exception of toxic waste dumps and those are already a felony to create. And child labor, also a felony.

Everyone wants clean water and air, the fallacy is that we (the West) didn't clean everything up and the Green Insanity will get us there. A modern emissions equipped car emits less pollution running than a pre-evaporative canister equipped car sitting not running. The lunacy of making automakers chase after that last .01% of whatever emission at a consumer cost of BILLIONS in needlessly complex cars just boogles the mind.
