Techincally, yes, there is as per the manual but I hear you. Even for the non M ICE cars, the manual says 2000kms.

530 is already available worldwide I believe. 540 is coming to NA and orders should open up in Nov/Dec but not Europe I believe. No direct ICE replacement for the 550 but they are doing a 560e which would be most comparable but is all electric, probably a MY 25. Other than that it’s the M5 hybrid.

2) The interior light is very bright at night and I have to lower it to about 40%. Otherwise the car side windows will reflect the ambient light and I can’t see anything from the side mirror.
3) I tried to plug in a USB-C cable but after one night the car gives me a battery drain warning. So I removed it and no probe afterwards.
4) I found the side window is not completely vertical and with an slight inward angle on the top. As a result I have bumped my head into the windows at lease 3 times.
5) It is a fingerprint collector!
6) The parking warning tone, the turning signal tone. Those are very cheap and the volume is usually low. If they hire Hans Zimmer to do the iconic sound, why not design these tones / beeps better?
I've had my i4 M50 since February, so quick thoughts on the braking:

- Recommend putting the braking level to Adaptive in D mode, and max in B mode. Adaptive will allow coasting (until you come up to traffic then it will slow down to match speeds) - so this is perfect for highway cruising. Then swap to B mode when you're around town to take advantage of the regen.

I also struggled with this at first with my i4, but once I started really playing with B mode, it's my favorite way to drive - it just required a mental change from gas on/off (on to accelerate, off to coast) to simply applying less and less throttle to ramp up the regen/braking. I now ONLY use my brakes if I need to slow down fast or if it's unplanned, and I'm pretty sure my brakes will never be changed for at least a couple hundred thousand miles before being changed at this rate.

You dont need to use B mode at all. The car blends friction brakes whenever the capacity of engine regen braking is used up, and thats never ever under normal driving.
Big misunderstanding of many people to think B mode gives any extra regen. It does not. B mode is an old gimmick, and adaptive regen in D mode is the most efficient way to drive and its the mode that combines all the tech in the car with regen.
Whenever you touch the brake pedal it only uses the regen anyway, unless you slam the brakes to the point where both is needed.

There has been some confusion about this, and people keep misunderstanding how it works when reading about B mode drivers. It gives no benefit. Just a different way to drive the car, that in the end is less efficient than D-adaptive mode due to human error. In B mode you cant coast without error, and any speed lost to over regenerating is wasted energy that you cant get back from the energy recovered by the exessive regen braking. Making it less efficient by default. You cant balance B mode perfectly enough to make it win against coasting freely.

Oh yes you’re right good catch forgot that they opted to go that route for the hybrid cause EU regulation was able to be pushed back.
