2024 540i G60 Delivered!

After months of waiting, the 540i is here! Delivered in M Sport and Carbon Black. Looks fantastic in this spec with M Sport Profesional. Very excited to push the improved B58. The interaction bar is present on the 540i for anyone wondering, and the build quality is very nice with the Black Veganza.

Very nice.So no visible exhaust pipes under the bumper?Are they just on one side pointed down back behind the bumper?

Dual exhaust, one on each side. They are tucked right behind the bumper angled downwards. You can see them if you peek underneath, but nothing visible normally as you stated.

Very nice! I like the 19” wheels…likely what I would choose given our roads. Do you like how they look in person on the car?

Mainly had to choose the because of the roads too. I don’t hate the design, but I think something a bit more interesting would be nice. Fits the car decently.

I’ve gone for the Luxury Seating package with the comfort seats in black. Will send pictures next time I hop in.

Congrats on the car, I’m not gonna sugar coat it but the downward facing tailpipes on the 540 is a deal breaker for me. I was hoping the tailpipes would be like the 2023 540, so disappointing.

I definitely feel that. Not exactly sure why BMW went this way with the ICE cars. We’ve seen on the 760i that it’s possible to make exhaust cutouts even on an electric-ICE shared platform car. I guess we’ll have to wait to see how the M5 implements them.

Congrats! Looks great, and thanks for all the pictures! Looking forward to seeing more pics of the interior too. I'm planning to order the luxury seats and would like to know if you think they feel any different than the normal Sport seats.

Looks really nice. I spec'd my 540 exactly like yours. Mine is currently on a ship in the middle of the Atlantic, hoping it won't be too much longer of a wait.

Congrats on the new car. I noticed on the BMW Configurator that with the 540 Luxury seats an articulating back is included. When you are sending pics of the seats, could you check this out?

The leaked pic of the new M5 shows that the car has the usual M Quad Exhaust tips.Maybe BMW just wanted to save money by not designing a different rear diffuser for the regular ICE 5 series models.
