Comfort Access Question

I have the car set up to unlock and unfold the mirrors when I approach it. Is there a way to leave this feature on for me, but to turn it off for my wife's key? Or, does it work the same for all keys or no keys only?

If your wife has her own profile or even her own BMW ID, as far as I know, this should also work with the various mirror settings.

I fiddled around in the settings, and it appears that the mirrors are profile-specific, but the listening for keys nearby is a car setting and not specific to different profiles.

In short, I can't stop the car from listening for my wife's key and only listen for my key. The car will sense any and all keys nearby and unlock and lock each time.

If somebody finds differently, please let me know.

If you go into the digital key settings in Apple wallet for the specific key and turn off passive entry, I imagine that particular key will no longer be sensed passively and will require the handle to be touched to open. I don’t think this is possible for key fobs, but I imagine that it would work for digital key plus.

Thanks for the tip, but my wife's Android phone doesn't support digital keys, so we don't have on installed for her. She just keeps her fob in her purse, and as you indicated I don't think there is a way to deactivate that feature for a fob.

Thanks for the tip though!

Speaking of Comfort Access: I like when the seat moves back when I exit the vehicle. Also, I have selected to unlock all doors as exit.

I’ll need to check if all doors unlock when I want to get in.

The comfort entry seat movements should be triggered by fastening/unfastening the seatbelt. The steering wheel movements should be triggered by turning the car off/on.

I had this set until the time I had a rear passenger and almost crushed her. Lots of screaming. I can live without it.
