Playing around with stacked TCs. 6D, 400 5.6, 1.4 + 2.0 TCs (1120mm), ISO 102400, 1/400s, f16, handheld. Looks like crap of course, but I'm surprised it came out this clear. It's 7:45PM on a rainy night. Not much light to speak of. And I just installed an Eg-S screen, which made it even darker. The screen is nice for manual focusing, though.

How's the photo look if you stack the TCs and use a normal ISO in daylight?

Have to wait for daylight to find out. Hopefully a sunny day. Haven't tried it yet, but with just the 2x alone the image is pretty good, although not 100%-crop good. With both TCs I suspect it might be ok, but nothing super nice. The Canon TCs stack better, I think.

Here you go, Chewy. Much better conditions. This was shot using a tripod and gimbal head, but still shooting normally (i.e., no timer or cable). Manual focus, obviously. Approx 50% crop.

Canon 6D, 400 5.6 + Kenko 2x and 1.4x TC stacked for f16 1120mm, ISO 3200, 1/1000s, tripod/gimbal
