Rockets are banged up right now - 4 starters missed Monday's [ractice, even after playing hurt the last 2 or 3 games....
5 players missed yesterday's practice: Jeremy Lin (back spasms), Chandler Parsons (back spasms), Terrence Jones (flu), Omer Asik (right thigh contusion) and James Harden (sprained left ankle) "Jeremy's back is in bad shape," Sampson said. "He could not sit down on the flight back last night. He's hurting." |

Jeremy Lin sitting down sucks for Houston. Rockets won't go far in the post season if they can't start hitting the 3 with consistency again, and Beverly isn't going to cut it. Garcia isn't really hitting it either. Houston has no mid-range game, and in the key, opponents can just hack-a-howard to disrupt his rhythm.

when he's on the floor, we look for him to penetrate and kick out - very rarely will Beverly ever try to take over a game, although he did a couple games ago all over Curry's tits.... Garcia's slump hurts right now - it's ok because it's early in the season. if he can get his groove going around the All-Star break, we'll be in great shape.... still think we got a 5 seed because of the complete lack of offensive system and gross defensive game.... they will win 50-52 games solely based on talent.... |

good win by the heat
good night on the NBA tonight, rockets taking care of the bulls and minesota beating the blazers just makes my heat that much closer to the best record :-) Last edited by JohnSprm69; 12-19-2013 at 12:43 AM.. |

i watched the last 8 minutes of that Heat game.
looked like the Pacers had some defensive breakdowns. not expected of them. Rockets handled the Bulls easily. Parsons, Beverly, Harden, and Howard are shooting 48% as a foursome now we gotta go into Indiana after the Pacers suffered a heartbreaking loss in Miami. game will be another national televised game. |

Ughhh fuck. Already knew we weren't going very far this season, just wanted to watch Kobe play.
Yes, Kobe may be a bit selfish, but no one can genuinely claim that he's boring to watch... Anyways, interesting piece on Xavier Henry from Grantland yesterday: http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/...d-xavier-henry |

Thanks for predicting he is done. Good to hear we have so many intelligent Doctors on this forum, who can diagnose a person they've never seen in real life. |

Lebron is always up Chalmers butt. Whether he's not "boxing the f*** out", or not "spreading the f******** floor", James and his anger is very easy to lip read on camera.

It was a show of appreciation for playing with the Lakers for 18 years so far. And his financial value has immensely benefited the Lakers through the years, that's the least the Lakers could do for him. Yes, I agree Nash is done, but I wouldn't doubt Kobe. |
