Looks perfectly fine.

- normal sized V shaped kidneys
- single belt line
- double headlamps
- round wheel arches
- hood line correctly placed

They know how to do a perfectly elegant and balanced sedan…. But they had to do he awful G11 LCI and new 7 Series with everything wrong. (And the awful vertical kidneys and in the middle of nowhere hood line of the 4 Series)

Looks like the 5-series has grown larger once again. Haven't picked through all 9 pages of this thread, but does anyone know the dimensions compared to the current model?

I agree with you on those wheels. This may be one of the i models as those look like George Jetson wheels.

If BMW wants to keep giving us intricate wheel designs, they should at least spend some time to find a brake pad design that doesn't dust like crazy. Or provide a set of wheel brushes with each purchase. lol

Looks like it is going to a bigger 3 series. very similar headlight, grille and bumper design of current 2023 3 series.

Actually I think it is going to have the new 7/X7 series headlights.

Why no ugly grilles for the 5-er?

Looks good to my eyes so far. The front-end seems to be a combination of the LCI 3-series and the new X1, which I really like. I also like the beltline.

R

Looks like the exterior design will be kinda boring but elegant.
I assume interior will be similar to 7 which is the best interior in any car IMO. (Including Rolls Royces and Bentleys).
Overall it will be a great sedan to have.
However if they don’t bring it with B58, I wouldn’t consider it myself.

Mmm. Not sure about the droopy assed back. Reminds me of a 10yo E class. Never liked them either. Will need a trunk lip spoiler to restore balance to the world.

I see a lot of e39 in it. Like the G30 meets E39.

I would think they will have a V8 version which is pure gasoline engine like the new 7. I cannot see BMW offering the V8 on the 7 and not on the 5, but you never know these days with BMW!

It doesn't seem to have split headlights or they are covered on these pictures. Also grill doesn't seem too large.

M550i V8 model will be gone after 2023.
