Looks like DAS kept HAM's tires warm behind the safety car....

So to any doubters, HAM worked for 30 laps to increase gap from VER from 1.4s to over 11s. Than due to safety car all that lead was lost with 10 laps to go. Yet at the end HAM was 5s ahead.
Respect. Also congrats to RIC!! Good to see him get a podium!! |

How many times does Hulk have to get off his couch, jump straight into the race car for a solid points finish to get a seat?
Perfect teammate for VER.

Hulk is a hell of a driver. No running at all and 20th to a points finish. Ridiculous that teams arent looking to give him a drive. Even stupid Renault going back to Alonso.

like Lewis said i grew up watching Schumacher winning and winning.. up until recent years it was looking literally impossible for anyone to win that much.. another superb achievement for Lewis.. well done.. him and the team deserved it without a hesitation at all.. start was exciting that until T4 it was intense.. noticed i wasnt breathing literally.. but Bottas placed the car perfectly.. not sure Bottas' big lock up is related with MGUK since its taking a role for slowing the car as well but it happened right after 2 laps Lewis was getting closer and closer.. either he cracked under pressure or just being unlucky mechanically though Lewis was looking stronger in the race contrasting being worse on quali.. if that lock up is related purely on driving error Bottas' wont be happy until next year probably.. seems like Red Bulls had more pace than they were showing.. Albon was asking too much from the tires under these conditions had few flat spots on different 2 sets of tires.. or maybe the problem was related to those pushes Albon was trying to cover up for the car donno.. i wasnt counting how many times Vettel missed Q3 this season and it seems it is 7.. heard it during the coverage.. and when you have that as a reference another clear sign how good Leclerc is becoming.. snapped some points again.. well raced and it was clear that he was at the limit but driving top-notch.. well done to Leclerc.. such a great young talent he is just being wasted this part of his career by Ferrari.. at least one of the best team to waste some time in anyway.. Hulk.. i literally dont understand how this guy cant find a seat for himself really.. after lapping only 4 times he goes straight to the race with last minute notice and grabbing some points after starting from last.. he.. deserves.. a.. seat already.. and a good one.. and actually Ocon is occupying his seat at the moment.. if in recent races Stroll wasnt performing well.. Stroll as well.. such a nice guy and great driver Hulk is.. and i didnt know until FP3 that he came to track with Keke Rosberg's recently sold GT2 RS.. superb choice.. McLaren was looking ok until Norris' problem but as they on the coverage it was interesting to quite a lot failures in such cool conditions.. and since Norris' car was pretty hot maybe his failure was related too small coolers.. maybe teams went too much to shrink them since the weather was cold already.. anyway one way another it was shame for Norris he was keeping it together well.. and Kimi made a top-notch move like in Bond movies really.. but im not sure being the most experienced driver on the grid is a cool thing though.. more starts mean more chances to get higher success but like this in Alfa Romeo he just lowering his stats.. as long as he enjoys it its ok.. but im not sure he really enjoys it recently.. he is looking even more bored in front of the cameras.. PS: i believe there is not much bubble left among the teams really.. handshakes hugs.. Mick was in Alfa Romeo garage on Friday.. spent all 2 hours there at least.. gave Schumi's helmet with a Ferrari stuff on.. Raikkonen and i guess Gio were in Nordschleife lapping on Thursday by road cars.. Ricciardo and Russel as well.. from opposite side, Lewis is in a team more than 4 people was covid positive.. i hope everyone ll be ok and championship wont be decided according to covid related problems.. they re all athletes high chance of survival but still..

It doesn't matter "WHO" is driving in that car....The advantage of more grip is there ! While others having lack of grip , with "COLD" tires Last lap : Someone's tires were on temp . He ran to the fastest lap of the race ...

at the beginning of 18th lap Bottas' led lights are going weird.. 35:00..
DAS was developed for this purpose.. especially for SC time.. hibernation is a bad thing in F1 not like in nature.. the rest is just would have and could have.. and Ricciardo didnt lock his front tire right behind Max.. without DAS as well..

HAM has been good on cold tires his whole career and in the time of Formula Pirelli, he has adapted to the tire better than any other driver that has driven concurrently with him, no matter the chassis. I loved when they went to this fuel saving formula and everyone stated that ROS, the thinking man's driver, would destroy HAM and Lewis proved both faster and more fuel efficient. HAM has proven to be the most adaptable driver in F1. This is no different.
