Wow, this type of thing happens a lot at BMW dealers I see. I witnessed an M6 driver throw a similar tantrum at an Ultimate Drive event, when asked to move his car because the spots were reserved for the test vehicles. He loudly responded that he bought all his cars there, and that his BMW was the most expensive BMW they make, therefore he would park wherever he wished.

That right there made me even more thankful I don't make a living dealing with people.

There's a BMW dealership that runs ads "(dealer name) BMW - Where it's all about YOU." I always wondered if they saw a spike in their customer AQ (asshole quotient) when they started that ad campaign...

My colleague dropped off a 550i yesterday and joked she was embarrassed to drive the 435i loaner. They issued. Because I care about her deeply, I told her the 435 has 1 more cylinder than your car, so it's actually superior. You could see her swagger the rest of the day thinking the loaner was 5 cyl

Her head nearly exploded when I pointed out it's a "gran" coupe with 4 doors. You remember how cool Clint Eastwood was in "gran" Torino....suddenly 4 was not < 5....

some sort of 5 series (hated it)
4series GC - pretty nice car over all

I always try and ask if they have something that I havent driven before just to try it out. The i3 was interesting and I almost ran out of juice on the way back since it didnt have the range extender.

Dealer kept putting me into X3s. HOW DO THEY KNOW? The wife has been pestering for years to get back into soccer-mom style vehicle.
