Can someone in CA confirm this one?

Vehicles that have 5 or more cars behind them can be ticketed for not letting them pass in CA. Or even seen as the cause of an accident.

Not sure if it is for every car but I was stopped in an RV w/ trailer attached because we passed a few turn outs we could have taken to let people pass. We had about 6 cars behind us. Luckily we were able to talk the cop out of writing us a ticket for it though.

It's in the law for turnout lanes, but doesn't say anything about what kind of fines you might incur.

Related question came up since we now have to give bicycles 3' of room when passing: Does the bicycle have to pull over when 5 cars line up behind? Neither CHP nor local PD at the meeting could answer.

The popularity of fondue wasn't an accident. It was planned by a cartel of Swiss cheese makers, which ruled the Swiss economy for 80 years.

From an objective standpoint on a street that's not busy, you can cross the double yellow line to pass the bikes, but from a subjective standpoint, bicyclists often don't give a damn about the laws and run red lights or ride like they own the road all the time, or an ignorant cop can still try to get someone in trouble.

Did anybody know that Mathew Machonagay or whatever, his dad died having sex with his mom. He predicted it 20 years earlier. After he died his mom had the cops pull him out naked so because she wanted to show him off and his "gift".

.... she wrote a book about it.

* There are over 70 documented cases of transplant patients experiencing the same thoughts and feelings as their organ donors did in life. People report everything from craving the donor's favorite foods to inheriting their talents. It's posed as a theory that the cells in people's bodies can store memories.

* Your body is the weakest at 3-4 AM, which is why most people die in their sleep around this time.

* Jackie Chan's family was so poor, that he was almost sold off to a wealthy British couple as a baby (then where would our movies be?).

* The Norse Sagas which describe the historical pre-Columbus Viking discovery of North America also say that they met Native Americans who could speak a language that sounded similar to Irish, and who said that they'd already encountered white men before them.

* In recent times, there are more pictures taken every 2 minutes than the entirety of the 19th Century worldwide.

The movie The Matrix come out in 1999. In a scene where Neo has to show his passport, you can see that it expires on Sept. 11, 2001.

In 2008, McDonald's saved $278,850,000 by removing one of the two slices of cheese from the McDouble Cheeseburger.

Find a store with a drive-through and you won't need pants.

Get a Baconator. Wendy's has a drive-through. No pants required.
