So 10 years after I got a Tesla model S , I can finally get the car I wanted, an electric 5-series touring.
Well, let’s hope it will be worth the wait… And let’s hope that there will be a charging network that’s at least comoaeable to Teslas ~2015 network. |

I've had more than 15 BMW i6 engines in my lifetime. Starting in 03 with a 330 stick. They elevated and captivated me. I'm going to miss them when they are gone. |

Looking good so far. Safe to say the 5er will remain the most attractive BMW through the next generation. Only thing I don't like are those wheels. Curious to see how the interior will look.

Looks perfectly fine.
- normal sized V shaped kidneys - single belt line - double headlamps - round wheel arches - hood line correctly placed They know how to do a perfectly elegant and balanced sedan…. But they had to do he awful G11 LCI and new 7 Series with everything wrong. (And the awful vertical kidneys and in the middle of nowhere hood line of the 4 Series) |

Looks like the 5-series has grown larger once again. Haven't picked through all 9 pages of this thread, but does anyone know the dimensions compared to the current model?

If BMW wants to keep giving us intricate wheel designs, they should at least spend some time to find a brake pad design that doesn't dust like crazy. Or provide a set of wheel brushes with each purchase. lol

Actually I think it is going to have the new 7/X7 series headlights.

Looks good to my eyes so far. The front-end seems to be a combination of the LCI 3-series and the new X1, which I really like. I also like the beltline.

Looks like the exterior design will be kinda boring but elegant.
I assume interior will be similar to 7 which is the best interior in any car IMO. (Including Rolls Royces and Bentleys). Overall it will be a great sedan to have. However if they don’t bring it with B58, I wouldn’t consider it myself.

Mmm. Not sure about the droopy assed back. Reminds me of a 10yo E class. Never liked them either. Will need a trunk lip spoiler to restore balance to the world.

I see a lot of e39 in it. Like the G30 meets E39.
