Take your time getting back in there. Sometimes lifting clears my head, but with your situation I think it would just give me anxiety being in there. Hope all is well man.

Every couple months I take a couple days off (no cardio either). Its good to just let your body rest.

Same. It really does help rest your body.

Something is wrong. I keep being able to lift weights that I never imagined using lately. Honeymoon period or something. Certainly not doing anything right with my diet.

Last night was chest/bi. I'm in the "heavy" phase right now, so target is 6x6, but i'm getting 7-8 with weights I'd never consider, AND still pretty good form. I added 25 on each side of the bench above where I've ever hit, curled 35 dumbbells (normally 20-25) and got to 8, peck desk up about 4 plates from where I was at before.

I did NOT go in the cold water last night. My friend Jack came to the SB party, I didn't need that extra stress last night. Hell, I even wore a sweatshirt on the beach while lifting.

I just got setup with GarageGymAthlete....a pretty sweet little app, tracking, and WOD. Never tried one of these but been wanting to enter more crossfit style work out where each day is a little different and so far Im enjoying it. Its nice to bring some variety to things.

Chest day this morning, felt solid in there. Leaning out this week for a reason unbeknownst to me. Hell had a big steak w/ mac & cheese followed by a few chocolate chip cookies and ice cream last night and I wake up this morning at 191. Was 197 Saturday. My weight is always all over the place though, so we will see how long this lasts. I didn't really lift much last week due to travel, so maybe the fact that I've been really getting after it in there since Sunday has an affect.

Going to try to eat pretty clean the rest of the week and see where I end up!

But it turned out that as his longevity increased, the arthritis was to actually make the tendons strong enough to support the amazing new muscle growth, and he turned into a protector of sorts with that power.

Hope springs eternal

Well I slipped up a little this past weekend and a cheat meal ended up into a cpl cheat days... I got back on track though and my weekly weigh in was 249 today as opposed to 246 last week ( I'm still holding onto some water weight from the extra carbs I consumed ) I am back on track with my nutrition though, and have been hitting the gym/elliptical at home still . Should be back to 246 tomorrow morning and than drop a cpl more pounds before I head to Vegas on Monday!

Those aren't rookie numbers my friend. 90% of the gym population can't do that even after lifting for years.

My body leverage wise is setup for it, but it took me years to get to those numbers.

Well considering your height and limb length, those are very impressive numbers. You literally have twice the Range of Motion on all those exercises than I do. Got to respect that.
