Haven’t seen nor heard from him. The only update i have is that on that night, he apparently tried to give my friends (the couple that brought him and his wife) $200 for reasons not entirely clear. They wouldn’t say whether they took the money...

For some reason, doing shit like that really bums me out. It's not like I was aiming for the little thing.....in fact I try to avoid contact as much as possible.

But so many people are preoccupied with their phones these days, they don't even notice them and aren't even aware when they do hit that or another small animal.

I remember my daughter coming home crying one night after she found a cat in the road that had been hit but still alive. She was in medical school at the time, and stopped to see if the damage was too extent for a vet.

But she parked, put on her bright's and flashers to illuminate the road, and as she was approaching it another car just ran right over it with no disregard.

It was truly traumatic for her.

I uttered the words "my Ferrari has the most ground clearance of any car I own".

Sadly it's true.

I wasn't on my phone or anything; the little dude was in the middle of the road and I slowed down, thought it'd run to the left but ran to the right...

I feel bad for doing it but I also don't think it's my fault so I'm not sweating it. It was a one lane road and I didn't want to swerve to the oncoming lane or onto the curb.

It's pretty shitty but I guess that's why they call it an accident...

Matter of fact she has even requested I make a few threads before... like last year she wanted to know if Mercedes was more prestigious than BMW.

You did the right thing not swerving into the other lane. Sucks to hit animals but it would suck more to cause a crash. A girl at my college died when she swerved to avoid a squirrel (which got ran over anyway) and hit a car head on.

I'm doing full bladder-emptying, not little start-stops. So old, but not THAT old yet.

Since left the house, I went twice at Dr., once at book store, and once at gym. Now at work and I gots to pee, and my blood sugar is in a normal range.

I thought of you as I watched one on a suicide run from one side to the other of a busy 3 lane road - little sucker survived!

I like Cocoa Krispies. Especially this time of year when local strawberries are in season.
