That's normally what I would think too, but neither of us really remember much of it, haha. That, and she's brutally honest and would've told me something like that the next morning, but instead was asking me about certain parts that she didn't remember. We were just talking about it and joking around about it and talking shit about other stuff like we normally do. It's just weird how she's acting because we're best friends, and she's always been very upfront and vocal and sort of unemotional (at least, not as emotional as 99% of girls out there) about sex and the like. So I have no idea what's going on, especially since I'm used to texting back and forth just about all day, every day.

And yeah, I get your point. I just needed to bitch, didn't feel like pulling a grimlock and creating a whole thread for it, and figured this would be the best place to do it.

Sure, but if she's that straightforward and you guys are so close, she should be able to tell you that she's distancing herself to disallow the feelings to grow.

This is what Bimmette is doing to me right now. But I love her too much to let that go.

So, like me, you have to decide if you want to let it go and just be friends (so allow some space for a while until you guys cool off), or keep investing in it until she comes clean and says she feels the same towards you and wants a relationship. That's my strategy with Bimmette too.

Maybe you're right, give it a couple of days, and then talk to her about it, and tell her how you feel. If it's a match, you'll agree to cool off for a while and then come back as friends. She may also be distancing herself because she may think you want something she doesn't. So you may calm her down when you tell her what you want, and remain friends.

Gotta tell you though: never seen it happen. And I've seen my fair share.
