It has it's place. It's a really durable floor that happens to do a pretty good job at looking like wood.

Your floor looks also good Sara , and stone floor is probably better with your warm climate and easier to clean than wood .
My choise was oak because we can have some serious winters and wood is a good isolation against the cold .
Downside with wood is that I can damage it or scratch it , so I put 5 layers of protection on it and so it's also waterproof .

Note : You and your little daughter look good too....very nice
