Whats this thing going to do with drag radials and...do I dare say, an after market tune and a blower pulley change.. I would imagine this engine stock at 662 is built to easily take a couple more ponies.

Quarter times in the 9's.

8's will be reached with even more mods.

I would imagine so. IIRC, the old Termi's could do something like 7-8XX HP before the internals needed upgrading, so this motor should be stout

The only thing that is going to suck about these cars is the markup when they start rolling out.

I guess you all are dense, so I'll make it crystal clear. Ford is marketing the GT500 as a giant killing 200mph super car (same as the ZR1). But compared to the two most compared cars on the market right now (i.e. 911 turbo and GTR), it's turning slow times. Regardless of specs, that's what they're comparing it too. That's my point. I'm not hating on your beloved Mustangs....
This car is actually pretty damn close to those two cars and it is in a completely, different price bracket. Seriously price wise (not even including maintenance) GTR's are a different league and the Turbo is even a league beyond that. This car is SCARY fast. It actually scares me that any old schmuck w/ 60k will be able to buy one of these.

The big picture is that you are comparing a RWD with a AWD. Not just that, it is a DCT AWD. You have no idea how hard it is to outshift a automatic transmission on the drag strip. Plus, a automatic transmission will always shift faster and more accurate than manual. I mean, you wouldn't understand that because you have no clue of what is even goes on, on the drag strip.

Where the heck did you get 70k? The Mustang GT MSRP at 54k. Why are you bringing a fully loaded car price into this?
Half a second is huge. Again, if I'm shopping high horsepower sports cars, everything is on the table. Again, if you can't read go back and take English 101 again. I'm sick of one sided ignorant assholes on the internet that assume they're god's gift to car awareness. If you can't respect someone else's opinion, here's my response. Go f yourself

Again, keep making your excuses bro

And a car can be significantly slower or faster depending on the weather. .3 to .5 is pretty average on a bad day (humidity, high temperature). Doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that. Yep. One sided ignorant ass holes. Sounds like you are explaining yourself.

Can't read? Looks like you are the one that is having reading problem.

Yawn. Did I make you cry? Poor kid.

One of the hardest decisions of my life is going to be choosing a color combo for this car. Its going to make me insane second guessing my choice.

I'd probably go either Sterling or Black with either black stripes or no stripes.

That DIB one above looks excellent though. I haven't liked a blue that much since Estoril. I also liked the combo Jay Leno had on his Garage show. Not usually a fan of red or stripes, but that combo looked great IMO.

No, as I understand it's all speculation as to exactly what they've got going on, but it's probably pulley, tune, long tubes, exhaust, and suspension.

They say "boost only" so I assume smaller pulley, tune, longtubes, and who knows what else. I think it is pretty impressive considering the car (5.8L) has not been out very long. However, the car is still very similar to the 2011-12s with the 5.4L, so not everything is newly developed. But 141mph traps is rockin!
