we did look good, but we are still a work in progress...
looks like martz is putting together a few new plays we are still lacking in the red zone, I think that's where we need and missed barber..need a guy like that to be able to pound it in... o-line still gave up too many sacks, but JC held his own and handled it well IMO... good to see hester back on special teams, don't think RW has earned his spot yet...but I continue to hope he proves the doubters wrong...... defense continues to be our anchor... next two weeks are tough, saints followed by the pack... BEAR DOWN...let's gooooooooo

I actually hate Joe Buck...I think he is a pompous ass. Troy played in the league so I have at least a little bit of respect for him...but Joe Bucks opinion means shit... |

amazing how many "bears fans" blame JC rather than the o-line, tice, and martz. we were getting abused, blitz'd up the ass and martz still wanted to run 7 step drop plays knowing he his o-line was getting beat up and knowing he was putting his qb in the fire. JC haters say it's on JC to get his team thru moments like this, he shouldn't be pouting or pissed...brady, brees, manning have found a way, JC needs to. I say to hell with that. Give JC a chance, the way his O-line and OC are going I'd be pissed off and standing alone on the sideline as well. Tice and Martz and Lovie need to get their head sout their asses and find a way to make it work.
Only problem I have with JC is his foot work, needs to scramble more and be able to step in/out of the pocket better...but with the swiss cheese that is our o-line, even michael vick wouldn't be able to make anything happen

JC didn't play to his full potential against the saints and he knows it. I will certainly cut him some slack, because that O-line was horrific. However, he does need some better decision making. Knowing when to give up on a play and just throw the ball away, watching for that corner blitz that wasn't picked up, knowing when to run, etc.
Martz needs to call up some damn run plays. Also don't over work forte. It would have been nice to see Chester get some carries against the saints. |

Earl Bennett out for sure, with Major Wright, Marion Barber, Chris Harris, Lance Louis, Roy Williams questionable

yeah we're toast. If we had Barber and Williams (or Bennett for that matter) in I'd say we have a good shot. Feel like against the Saints D last week we didn't do shit other than 40 yrd check downs to Forte.
We're gonna miss Harris in the secondary... Rodgers will probably pick us apart. Despite all that, SOMEHOW the Bears bring their A game against GB every year. We almost came back in the NFC championship game with a 3rd sting QB. |

Dunno what it is about playin' the Pack....we can suck the rest of the year but when they come...different story. I am torn this week because I have Rodgers, Jennings, and Stark (bench) on my fantasy team |

Packers secondary is susceptible, but exploiting it is dependent on pass blocking, which the Bears obviously suck at...
