Phil Jackson coached 2 of the best players ever. The Bulls were loaded the lakers were loaded. with that said they are 1, 2 whatever order.

And this is coming from a Celtics fan that should be saying this about Red. Even with only five rings, he still has 1,100+ wins and has done it with a single team that has stayed relevant throughout roster changes. I (and many others) felt this way long before LBJ made his comments.

Been reading bios on MJ and Kobe, and it's fascinating how Phil got along with the two. He's an absolute control freak. Think he always got along better with MJ though.

Let's not lose perspective here. Here's a summary from Wiki... "Former Los Angeles Lakers head coach Phil Jackson won eleven NBA championships, the most in NBA history. He won six titles with the Chicago Bulls and five titles with the Lakers, and is the only coach who has won multiple championships with more than one team." In sports, winning is the goal unless you are in a trophy-for-showing-up mindset. And winning the championship is the ultimate goal. Jackson did it 11 times! That's one ring for each finger (including thumbs) and one more to adorn any other part of the body he chooses. With whom he got along and bad ref calls and luck and the alignment of the stars and any other factor doesn't really matter. The dude won 11 championships. Period. |

I guess I was asking for this given the title of my original post.
But, regardless of your poking fun, the Warriors still have the best record in the NBA. Of course, they could lose 1/2 their games, but like that's going to happen Having Durant out will make them stronger on from the bench as they get ready for the playoffs. Maybe they fail, but I wouldn't bet against them. |

3-4 since March. None of the wins against teams with winning records, two of them being single possessions to end the games. At this point, should try to tank the season and aim for #1 draft slot?

They should roll over and focus on a good spot for next year's draft. I'd simply count them out for this season. Wait, aren't they in first place and have the best record in the NBA? Maybe they will come around and be a contender. We will see. |

11-0 win streak since you wrote this status update. That's pretty good.

well, this path can only lead to another loss in the playoffs and a terrible draft position. I still recommend tanking and trading Draymond and Clay for a 2nd round pick and cash considerations to the Lakers.

11-0 steak without Durant and this is your response? The playoffs should get interesting. It's not a sure thing at all for the Warriors, but they have a shot. |

I'm tired of seeing Bronsexuals on social media trying to attack Jordan's legacy. To rationalize his dicking over the fans by resting games, they've started saying "Jordan took 2 yrs off." These clowns don't realize (a) he did so to fulfill a lifelong dream after his father's death and (b) he played baseball and didn't sit around all day chilling. Bunch of <25 yr old trolls engaging in revisionist history.

Hurry up and wait. Geesh.
Win 4 in a row and wait. Win 4 in a row and wait.
I hope the Warriors (and Cavs) don't get rusty with all this waiting |

Wow, the Spurs just dismantled Houston and they are looking very strong. Should be a good Conference Final between the Warriors and the Spurs.
