Here was my R8 with Capristo 3-valve exhaust. I only ever ran it in the OPEN setting and it made the V8 sound SO beastly.

I can't believe I don't have any videos of my e92 Eisenmann Race/DPs setup!

Yup, here are some other photos. It's crazy, the "red" interior on it was almost identical to my e92 M3 Fox Red.

The cage shifter was awkward at first, because I kept trying to "guide" the stick into each slot (ha!). So at first I got caught up on that.

But as soon as you forget the cage is there and drive it like a normal manual, it works just like a regular 6MT. I would have forgotten the cage was even there if it weren't for the metallic *clink* every time I changed gears. I miss that.

Haha thanks man!!!

The REAL reason I sold it was because the new body style was on the horizon, and with the car being a 2009 I thought I would get the best value from selling it before the hype started on the new body. The other reason I sold it because I was getting divorced and wanted to consolidate from 2 cars (4runner and R8) to 1 car.

So then I got this:




And very soon after realizing it was not practical to have a Raptor around here (I couldn't even park it in my work garage because it's too high), I sold that and scooped the M3.

The R8 was a showstopper, I had a lot of fun with it.

LOL, now that's a real teeter totter of ownership. That Raptor is a beast. They look mad imposing on the road. Especially because I drive a fucking Mini. Smh.


Your YMB is my fave so far, though. I definitely don't really like the new body style R8's as much as I did the olds.
